Quinena Bell

Mrs. Bell has been in education for 17 years. She began her career at Hobgood Elementary, teaching all subjects in third and fourth grade. In 2014, she became an academic interventionist. She later became an academic coach and then had the privilege to become an assistant principal in 2016. Mrs. Bell served in that capacity until she was hired as the principal of Hobgood in 2019.

Mrs. Bell has a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Middle Tennessee State University, a Master’s degree in Administration and Supervision from Middle Tennessee State University, and an Educational Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Middle Tennessee State University.

Mrs. Bell believes all children are unique and must have an engaging learning environment where they can grow mentally, emotionally, and socially. She is confident that caring teachers, intentional planning, quality instruction, and a supportive community will bring success and achievement.  

Mrs. Bell has been married for 16 years to her husband, Stephan. Her husband is in the military, and they have three children. Outside of school Mrs. Bell enjoys spending time with family and traveling.

Stephanie McIntyre

Mrs. McIntyre graduated from the University of TN at Martin in 2004. She began her teaching career at Warren County High School the same year. While there she helped start their Freshman Academy, was a Department Chair, Student Council Advisor, Yearbook Advisor and Softball coach. In 2009 Mrs. McIntyre took a position at Rock Springs Middle School in Smyrna, TN. There she coached softball and basketball, was the Department Chair, RTI2B team lead, leadership team member and was the Dean of students her last 3 years there.

In 2015 Mrs. McIntyre graduated from MTSU with a Masters in Science in Health Education and in 2017 graduated from Lincoln Memorial University with an Educational Specialist Degree in Leadership and Administration. This allowed her to begin her career at Hobgood as the Assistant Principal in 2019. Mrs. McIntyre believes that her position at Hobgood will allow her to help support students and teachers in their pursuit to success mentally, emotionally, socially and academically. She believes all children can achieve greatness.

Mrs. McIntyre is married to her husband Mike who has served in the Military for the pat 24 years. Together they have two daughters, Mia and Ella Grace. In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing softball, spending time with family and friends.
