Ana Dalmau Reed, EC Intervention

My name is Ana Dalmau Reed, and I am very happy to continue my teaching career at Hobgood Elementary. My Hobgood journey began late in the 2015-2016 school year as I came in as an interim special education teacher. I was later hired and have since continued to enjoy being a part of the Hobgood family.

A little about me:

I was born in Miami, FL to Cuban-American parents. I have 2 brothers and a sister. I am married to a wonderful man named Matthew and have a fun-loving daughter named Sophia who was entering the 3rd grade when we moved to Murfreesboro.
We also have a furry family member named Zoey. She is a yorkie-schnauzer mix and a big sweet heart.

In 2009 I moved to Tampa, FL to I attend the University of South Florida (USF). Here I received my bachelors in special education and taught in middle school for 4 years.

I love to read, cook, and watch movies. I am energetic and love to make learning fun. This past school year (2017-2018) I had the privilege of leading the forensics club which was a very engaging and exciting experience.

Please feel free to email me ( with any questions or concerns you have. I'm looking forward to another great year!
